All four sites sit within the King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter.

The Knowledge Quarter contains a vibrant mix of buildings and public spaces, playing host to many major technology and research centres such as Google, AstraZeneca and the Alan Turing Institute.

Creating a new campus

Kadans’ proposals will create a new cluster of knowledge intensive companies, Tileyard Quarter, within the King’s Cross Knowledge Quarter area.

With four new hubs and a significant combined floorspace, the new campus will be a hub for knowledge intensive businesses and create unparalleled opportunities for the borough and residents.

Tileyard Quarter will create the infrastructure and jobs required in a growing sector and play a part in enabling Islington to become a national and global leader in life science development.

Tileyard Quarter presents a unique offering in the science and R&D sector. The cluster will create market leading spaces to attract innovation and offer a substantial boost to the local economy.
